Marcus Young, Grace Minnesota and many others,
Don’t You Feel It Too?

Dare to dance, and be a fool! Don’t You Feel It Too?

Generate joy in the streets, nourish your big inner nature, and find hope in the face of climate change. That’s what it’s about. It looks like a silent rave, but it’s a participatory street dance—a mind-body practice of civic presence, social healing, and personal liberation. We’ve been doing it since 2008. It’s guaranteed to make you love the world again.

Here’s how: bring your mp3 player, some awesome music, and headphones. Enjoy 30-minute workshops offered every half hour all night long, just outside the Guthrie. We’ll teach you the way of Don’t You Feel It Too? Dance with us, vulnerable yet resilient. Everyone is welcome.

Optional: Go learn something cool at Nerd vs. Nerd, and then come embody the new knowledge dancing with us under the stars and by the great big river.

Team members: Aki Shibata, Rae Eden, Theresa Madaus, Diane Hellekson, Oliver Jacob Doherty, and Shira Charis.

Marcus Young 楊墨 is a behavioral and social practice artist making work for the stage, museums, and the public realm. His work expands the repertoire of human behavioral practice and the expressivity of city systems. He is currently studying tea, looking for love, and traveling a lot to China.
