Come join us for an evening of food, conversation, connection, and an overall festive celebration. Northern Spark falls during Ramadan, a season of fasting and reflection for Muslims all over the world. In this space we invite you to a community Iftar, to break bread with our Muslim brothers and sisters and kick off the evening at sunset with a wonderful and poetic call to prayer (Adhan) from the Guthrie’s Endless Bridge. Enjoy inspiring words from Muslim religious leaders, and great food from local muslim business, Gandhi Mahal Restaurant. Engage in conversations at your dinner table, and participate in a community art project. Prepare to engage! We encourage all to come with open hearts and minds.
Limited tickets will be available first come, first served for the full meal from 8:30 – 9:30 pm.
Beginning with a Call to Prayer at 9 pm, all are welcome to sample treats from Gandhi Mahal and engage in conversation.
